Boca Falls Homes Enjoy Holiday Street Parade

Holiday Parade Brings Santa to Boca Falls for Community CelebratingAll are invited to the Holiday Street Parade, an annual tradition that many living in Boca Falls homes attend each year. This year, the parade will take place on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. along Federal Highway. This parade is in its 50th year and will feature more than 50 groups and floats. Those watching will be able to see dancing, lights, and elaborately decorated floats. It will be tons of fun and a great way to get in the holiday spirit. The theme this year will be “What Are You Streaming?” It will be fun to see what parade participants come up with for this theme that touches on something that has become very popular in the last few years.

The parade will begin at Federal Highway and SE 5th Street and travel north to end at Mizner Park Amphitheater. Even if you are not planning to attend the parade, keep in mind that traffic will be affected that night, as Federal Highway will be closed. It would be a great idea to carpool with others living in Boca Falls homes. Parking will be available at City Hall, Downtown Library, and Building Administration. Run Past Boca Raton Homes in the Five Guys Boca Holiday Mile

Before the parade starts, consider participating in the Five Guys Boca Holiday Mile for PAL. This is a fun, one-mile run down Federal Highway with no turns. After the run, finishers can stay and watch the parade. There will be age groups from 8 up to 60+. The start time is 7:15 at Royal Palm Plaza and the finish will be north of Mizner Park by Boston Market. Five Guys burgers will be included after the run. Anyone living in a Boca Raton home who would like to participate in the run can sign up here.  The cost is $20 for adults and $18 for those 15 and under.

More Excitement in Mizner Park For Those with Mission Bay Homes

Make the most of the holidays with activities near Mission Bay Homes.Everyone living in a Mission Bay home can enjoy a variety of holiday events at Mizner Park and Mizner Park Amphitheater this December. Merry in Mizner will take place Fridays and Saturdays December 3, 4, 10, and 11 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Mizner Park. Pop-up entertainment will be sprinkled around Mizner Park underneath a vast array of holiday lights. There will be snow flurries, giant inflatable winter characters, and holiday musicians. There will also be strolling performers such as stilt walkers, stationary cirque acts, poi performers, and carolers. Bring the kids to visit the interactive Santa’s letter booth to let Santa know what they would like him to bring to their Mission Bay home this Christmas.

Jingle JAM Comes Near Boca Raton Homes

There will also be several concerts happening in December at Mizner Park Amphitheater. Jingle JAM will be taking place on Saturday, December 7th from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Ticket holders are invited to dress up as a holiday character and enjoy an evening full of live entertainment with food and alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Tickets are $25 for general admission or $50 for a VIP ticket. Toy donations are greatly appreciated. This event is only open to those ages 18 and above and attendees must be 21 to drink. The entertainment line-up includes DJ’s Ben Nigrelli and JAYR, Michael Constantino, Krazy Train party band, and more special guests that are TBA. Be sure to bring a designated driver to ensure you make it back to your Boca Raton home safely.

Two concerts will be taking place on Sunday, December 8th. Come for Sunday Jazz Brunch at Mizner Park Amphitheater from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and FAU Merry Tuba Christmas at Mizner Park Amphitheater from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Sunday Jazz Brunch is the first of several installments of this event that will include food trucks, drinks, and local vendors. Everyone living in Mission Bay is invited to ring in the holidays at Mizner Park and Mizner Park Amphitheater this December.

Gear Up for Next Month's Deerfield Beach Home Town Boat Parade

Boats light up the night Near Deerfield Beach Homes this December.Everyone living in a Deerfield Beach home is invited to the 47th Annual Holiday Boat Parade. Mark your calendars now for this event that will take place on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the Intracoastal Waterway. The parade will begin at C-15 Canal and travel south. In past years, viewing was available at the Wildflower Property and Silver Palm Park, but these are both closed this year due to construction. In 2021, the only site for viewing will be available at Red Reef Park. Bleachers will be set up for those in attendance. Please note that limited parking is available at Red Reef Park, so be sure to make a plan before leaving your Deerfield Beach home.Those participating in the boat parade will be eligible for $10,000 in cash and prizes available in many categories. 

Even if you will not be attending the boat parade, note that several bridges will have extended closures for the parade on December 18th. This may affect your evening travel plans. The Spanish River Blvd. Bridge will be closed from 6:30 p.m. to 7:20 p.m., the Palmetto Park Rd. Bridge will be closed from 7:20 p.m to 8:10 p.m., and Camino Real Bridge will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 8:20 p.m. The application for the boat parade is now closed, if you missed the deadline, keep this event in mind for next year so you don’t miss out.

Tour the beautifully decorated Historic Stranahan House Museum with costumed docents, who will take you back in time to the Victorian era. Learn about the beginnings of many holiday traditions as well as how pioneers celebrated Christmas in the early days of Fort Lauderdale. Museum Fun Over the Holidays For Those Living in Fort Lauderdale Real Estate

The Historic Stranahan House Museum is located at 335 SE 6th Ave. in Fort Lauderdale. Paid public parking can be found off-site in the Riverside Hotel Parking Garage or along Las Olas Blvd. Choose a ticket time between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on any available night. Tickets are available in 15 minute increments to space out the tours. The cost for tickets are $25 for members and $30 for non members.

Boca Raton Home to Veterans Ceremonies

Veterans Honored Near Boca Raton HomesAll who call Boca Raton home are invited to recognize military personnel who have served our country on Veterans Day. A ceremony and concert will take place on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mizner Park Amphitheater. The City of Boca Raton is hosting this free Veterans Day observance entitled “Honoring All Who Served.” Free to the public, everyone in attendance is invited to visit booths that will have information meant to help with common challenges often encountered after military service. Organizations represented will include Grey Team, Inc. and Vets Helping Heroes.

Honor Heroes Living in Boca Raton

From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., all in attendance will be able to enjoy  performances by the Fort Lauderdale Highlanders, the Boca Raton Community High School NJROTC, and the Boca Raton Police and Fire Honor Guards. The Boca Raton Community High School Band will also provide a musical performance. While at the event, enjoy lunch away from your Boca Raton home. This will be offered from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans in uniform, or those who can present a military ID, will be offered a free lunch. Anyone else who would like to have lunch can do so for $5.

After lunch, there will be a concert featuring Krescendo Brass. The group will perform patriotic music with two trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba, and percussion. Chairs and seating will be provided to all in attendance. Keep in mind that there will be free, limited parking for Veterans in the lot adjacent to the amphitheater. No coolers or outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted and food and beverages can be purchased inside the venue. The event will go on rain or shine, so come prepared for the weather. Light the Lights Tree Lighting Returns Near Boca Green Homes

Palm Tree Lighting Near Boca Green HomesThe holidays are a magical time for those living in Boca Greens homes. Get into the holiday spirit by attending the Light the Lights - Holiday Tree Lighting at Mizner Park Amphitheater. This event will take place on Friday, November 19th, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The schedule is jam packed with holiday fun for the whole family.

Plan to arrive around 5 p.m. At 5:30 p.m., guests are invited to view the Holiday Stage Show, which will include performances, music, and lots of fun. Next, at 6:45 p.m., the highlight of the evening will take place with the ceremonial tree lighting and fireworks display. Mayor Scott Singer will light the 47-foot animated tree, which is located at the south end of the center. After the lighting, everyone can enjoy a fireworks display above the amphitheater. Once this concludes, all are invited to dance under the snow flurries, listen to some music, and grab treats to prepare for the movie.

Palm Trees Shine on Boca Greens Homes This November

The last event of the evening is a holiday movie screening under the stars. Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs from your Boca Raton home so that you can be comfortable on the lawn for the movie. If you forget, chairs will be available for rent for $5 while supplies last. The movie this year is the holiday classic Home Alone. Be prepared to laugh and get into the holiday spirit.

While at Mizner Park, enjoy more than 50,000 LED lights that will adorn 75 palm trees throughout the park. There will also be wreaths, garlands, and other holiday trimmings. Pompano Beach Home to International Film Festival

The Pompano Beach Cultural Affairs Department will present Two Days of FLIFF, featuring Walk a Mile in My Shoes. Guests in attendance will be able to view a collection of seven short films that depict the lives of people of color. This event will take place on November 6th, 2021. The film screening will start at 2 p.m. and a Q&A with guests will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Free Film Screening for Those Living in Pompano Beach

This event is free, however you do need to register. The seven short films that will be featured include Los Pantines, Fireburn the Documentary, The Conversation Remix: For Our Girls, A Conversation with Black Women, Wade in the Water: Drowning in Racism 2021, Rest Area, The Farmer and the Lightning Storm, and He wants to Know My Name. At the conclusion of the screening, guests will be able to participate in a Q&A session.

The 36th annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival will present American indies and studio films, student films, international films, seminars, special tributes, and more. The festival will run November 5th through 21st. Those living in Pompano Beach real estate can consider making the short drive to Fort Lauderdale or another participating city to experience more of the festival. This is considered one of the most important regional film festivals in the United States, and 200 films will be screened in Fort Lauderdale, St. Augustine, Hollywood, Sunrise, and The Bahamas. Prices for booths range from $525 to $1,050 depending on the size. Add $75 for a corner booth and a jury fee of $35 if you are interested in being judged. Professional Artist Awards will be given out. Winning artists will be given prizes and a large, eye-catching ribbon to display at their booth. A Budding Artist Competition will also take place at the show. The work of the youngsters will be on display all weekend.

The Florida Intergenerational Orchestra Brings Music to Everyone in Boca Falls Homes

Hear music near Boca Falls homes from the Florida Intergenerational Orchestra.People of all ages from Boca Falls homes can participate in the Florida Intergenerational Orchestra. Even if you’re not musical, it’s well worth going to one of the orchestra’s exciting concerts. Lorraine Marks-Field is the founder and conductor of the orchestra. She has an extensive background in musical education and has taught music in several different schools. She is also a talented performer herself on both the piano and viola and plays viola in the Sunrise Pops Orchestra. Ms. Marks-Field brings both her educational and performance background to encourage all members of the intergenerational orchestra.

Everyone living in Boca Falls and Boca Raton homes should make plans to celebrate the winter holidays with the orchestra at the play-along and sing-along virtual holiday concert on Sunday, December 12th at 3 p.m. The event is free and will include both Christmas and Hanukkah favorite tunes. The Pines Course is a Greg Norman Signature design. The Palms Course is equally loved by Pompano Beach real estate owners. Whether you enjoy playing in the morning, afternoon, or evening, you can book a tee time. Summer hours are 7 a.m. to dark, seven days a week. Winter hours are 6:30 a.m. to dark on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday through Saturday. On Wednesdays and Sundays in winter, the course closes at 4:30 p.m.

Pompano Beach Real Estate Owners Improve Their Game with Lessons

If you ever want to work on improving your game, the course offers lessons by Bob Loring, a PGA Professional. Kids can get in on lessons, too, as well as weekly clinics on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
